Home Bargains shoppers have spotted a literal shining gem of a garden light that's now back in stock. Hundreds vouched for the stunning light that costs less than £5 but makes your garden "feel complete". Posting in the Bargain Lovers Facebook group, a member called Tirie shared: "Look what s coming back at Home Bargains!" They uploaded a photo from the store of hot air balloon-inspired solar lights.
One type can be stuck in the ground with a stake, while the other can be hung up to give a floating effect. Both versions were priced at £3.99 each, meaning it won't take much to create a stunning display in your garden this summer. Both versions are currently sold out on the Home Bargains website. This means shoppers will have to check their nearest stores to pick up anything they want to stash away for when warmer weather comes and it's time to spruce up the garden.
The Firefly Hanging Hot Air Balloon Solar Light is a "charming, eco-friendly light". It claims to create "a whimsical glow that’s perfect for any outdoor space". The lamps were available in April 2024 and were an instant hit, but they have made an early comeback in time for the spring. Shoppers weren't holding back their excitement at the sight of the coloured balloons returning. One said: "Mine are still going strong from last year. They look lovely at night when they're all lit up. Will have to get some more!" Another added: "Love these I’ve had mine over a year and still looks nice and bright every night!".
A third wrote: "I had some of these last year and they were beautiful. They were just mesmerising to watch!" Someone else commented: "Love these - and they're so weather-resistant. I left mine out all over winter and they still work a treat!" A fifth person shared: "We did our garden up last year, and it didn't feel complete until I hung these lights up. Just beautiful!". In other Home Bargains news, shoppers will have plenty to pick from if they're getting their garden ready this spring. Home Bargains impressed with a £20 garden ornament made of fake grass. The discount store has added delightful topiary-style animal ornaments - including a teddy bear and a puppy - to its Jardin Artificial Grass range. Shoppers were equally thrilled to give their outdoor spaces some extra personality with the cute characters.
