A huge pop star who bagged a number one single has parted ways with her record company after more than a decade, according to reports. American pop star Bebe Rexha, 35, who had a Number 1 hit in 2022 with David Guetta on I'm Good, signed with Warner Records 13 years ago. However, after a series of reported spats with the music giant, the singer is said to be heading in a new direction.
Speaking about the split, after Bebe threatened to tell 'all her truths' about the music industry in angry rant online last year, an industry insider said the Meant To Be star sees the move as a positive. They claimed Bebe, who is said to have found new management, had become "frustrated about her career".
The source revealed: "Bebe has become really frustrated about her career so when things reached an impasse with Warner and they said it was best to stop working together, she decided not to fight it." They continued to The Sun: "She has told friends that she wants a fresh start and didn’t feel like she could do it there anyway.".
The ink of Bebe's departure from Warner is already said to have dried, with the company removing the singer from its website and Bebe no longer following the label on Instagram. The star's 2018 debut Expectations is her only album to chart, reaching a disappointing No33. However, Bebe has had huge success with several collaborations, including Meant To Be with Florida Georgia Line, which has sold more than ten million copies in the US and holds the record for the most streamed country song of all-time on Spotify.
