There are few things that light a fire in a beauty aficionado’s heart more than a cheap dupe of a cult product. And Elf is particularly good at it – be it make-up or skincare, all of their products are supremely affordable and often very popular dupes of more high-end brands.

From Charlotte Tilbury to Dior, Elf usually has been inspired by many upmarket names, and at a snip of the price. Read on to discover Elf's most popular dupes. Serious glow in a bottle, without the sparkle. A dupe for: Hollywood Flawless Filter, £39, Charlotte Tilbury.

A multi-use product for serious glow in a bottle, this can me worn all over under make-up for a boost of radiance or on high points of the face as you would a highlighter – it’s finely-milled pigment means that it’s not shimmery or sparkly. A dewy base with SPF protection.

A dupe for: Supergoop Glow Screen SPF40, £35, Look Fantastic. Another one for glow-getters, this delivers SPF protection with a dewy base that leaves you feeling like you don’t need to wear make-up – though Elf’s only has two shades, whereas Supergoop has four, and Elf’s is a lower protection factor than Supergoop’s.

Look airbrushed and keep skin protected. A dupe for: Supergoop Unseen Screen, £35, Cult Beauty. For those of us who prefer a more matte base, this is the one to go for. I was very impressed when I tried this – a clear gel formula that works on all skin tones, it feels exactly like a blurring primer so you don’t need to worry about a shiny face after applying your daily SPF. Again, the protection of Supergoop’s is higher, and the Elf formula does have a faint chemical whiff to it, but it’s £21 cheaper.
