The Broadway legend, 34, was beaming as she won this year's series of The Masked Singer, leaving the ITV show's judges, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, Maya Jama, and guest panellist Danny Jones stunned as she took off her pufferfish mask. Following the victory, Samantha said: "I've had the best time. Underneath the mask, I've been smiling so hard - it's hurting my cheeks! It's been amazing.". The star, who has spent years playing the role of Elsa in the West End production of Frozen added: "You know what this has been the most fun experience. I’ve loved this whole secret spy life and I can’t believe it's over and I can’t believe I won? I loved Pufferfish. Now it's gone I don't know how to be without the Pufferfish anymore!".
With all eyes on Samantha, we have taken a look into her marriage to fellow Broadway actor Alex Michael Stoll. Samantha met her husband while the pair were working on the 2018 Broadway production of Pretty Woman. The brunette beauty played Julia Roberts's iconic character, Vivian Ward. Alex is a highly regarded actor who has starred in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, West Side Story, Evita, If/Then, Spiderman, and American Psycho.
Samantha and Alex got engaged three years after meeting, and the pair officially announced their pending nuptials on 1 February 2021. Samantha shared a sweet snap with Alex, which also included her shiny new ring, alongside the caption: "Like Beyoncé... but with an F.". The couple tied the knot the following year with a fairytale wedding under the Tuscan sun in Italy. OK! exclusively covered the wedding, which saw the blushing bride and handsome groom surrounded by 50 of their closest friends and family members.
The blissful day was full of joy and featured personalised touches such as specially curated cocktails, a beautiful first dance and an Italian cake tradition. Samantha chose her white gown with Frozen co-star Steph McKeown, who plays Anna. She said: "I felt very much like me in the dress, which is great.". After making their marriage official, the newlyweds were showered in rice and flowers as they left the altar to the sound of a harpist playing Beyoncé's hit Love On Top.
“I got emotional during the ceremony,” Samantha told OK!. “If there was any part of the day I could have been slightly nervous for, it would have been that. Performing is what we do, so I’m so used to that, but in my mind, I was thinking, ‘I don’t want to mess anything up’. But once I got there and you see everyone, walking down with my dad and seeing Alex, the nerves went away.". Samantha and Alex went on to have a son, named Rafael Richard Barks-Stoll in October, 2023. The star told her Instagram followers: "Welcome Rafael Richard Barks-Stoll, born on 16th October. My heart could burst with happiness." She's been raising her little boy with her husband and their beloved pooch Ivy.
