This Morning host Cat Deeley stepped in to save the day after an "accident" occurred on the ITV set, during Monday's episode. The 48-year-old presenter was joined by her co-star Ben Shephard and a number of adorable Golden Retriever puppies at the time of the incident and in a bid to cheer up viewers on 'Blue Monday'.

They had been speaking to chef Marcus Bean about his menu for the day when one of the dogs did their business in the studio live on-air. "Ohh," yelled Ben as handed his co-star a tissue, saying: "There you go." Cat swooped in to fix the issue, adding: "Where there is puppies, there is poop.".

"There you go Deeley, that's my line," stated Ben as he pointed to the mess on the floor, prompting: "That's yours.". As Cat was readying to step in, the puppy returned to further finish his business and almost stepped in the mess, causing the host to yell: "No, no. no.".

Falling about the place laughing, Ben demanded: "Get the poo," as Cat reappeared saying: "I've got it, I've got it." Returning to the sofa with the muck firmly wrapped up in the tissue, she reassured: "We're good, there you go.". Looking disgusted and moving away from her, Ben asked: "What are you doing with it?" His co-star explained: "I'm going to hold on to it until we've finished the link.".
