Regular ITV guest Dr Amir Khan has shared an update on social media, telling fans he is "not happy" with them "at all". The full-time GP is known for his appearances on daytime programmes such as Lorraine, This Morning, and Good Morning Britain. And when he's not working as a doctor or filming for telly, he sometimes shares medical advice and other posts with his 575,000 Instagram followers. In a video he uploaded on Friday, Dr Amir told fans: "Happy bleedin' Valentine's Day".
A video accompanying the post showed the GP running, as he said: "Right listen guys, I am not happy with you at all. You have made me late for everything today. I got up this morning on time, everything was going well, and then I was just inundated with Valentine's Day cards. "I'm not even joking, you know that scene in Harry Potter where Hedwig and his mates are trying to deliver Hogwarts letters to Harry Potter where he lives with his aunt and uncle? ... and they can't get through so they just keep sending more and more? It was like that.
"I couldn't get out the house. I had to apologise to the postman and the neighbours." He captioned the update: "Honestly you guys are just too much [heart emoji]". Fans were clearly loving the comical post, as one wrote in the comments section: "I feel your pain you can’t get out our front door for Valentine cards either [cry-laughing emojis]. Amir you really are absolutely wonderful you never fail to bring sunshine even on the darkest of days.".
