Ivanka Trump thanked NBA legend Nikola Jokic for helping discipline her son at the NBA All-Stars game over the weekend. The First Daughter, 43, posted a clip to her Instagram story, showing eight-year-old son Theodore - whom she calls Theo - being instructed to pose for a photo by members of the All-Star team. In particular, she shouted out Nikola Jokic, 29, a center for the Denver Nuggets. In the clip, Theo could be seen animatedly chatting to the players before Jokic gently turned him around to face the camera for the snap.

'Thank you Jokic for getting my Theo to listen,' Ivanka jokingly wrote on the video. Ivanka, who served as an adviser to Trump in his first term, also posted a carousel of pictures and videos to Instagram, showing their family orientated weekend. The First Daughter, 43, posted a clip to her Instagram story, showing her eight-year-old son, Theodore - whom she calls Theo - being instructed to pose for a photo by members of the All-Star team. Despite Ivanka's gushing review of the weekend - and the discipline they offered Theo - the sentiment wasn't felt by all fans, with many slamming the event, which debuted a new format on Sunday.

Instead of the usual one game, there were three shorter games to the score of 40, while a team of Rising Stars (not All-Stars) was also invited to suit up. Furthermore, there were long breaks between the three games, as MrBeast hosted a three-point shooting competition and Kevin Hart had loads of screen time, at one point commemorating TNT's 'Inside the NBA' crew before their show is licensed to ESPN next year.

With all of those factors - plus the fact that LeBron James, Luka Doncic, Anthony Edwards and Anthony Davis didn't suit up - the game was not well received by viewers. Just last weekend, Theo was the center of another major sports event, attending the Super Bowl to watch the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Philadelphia Eagles. In a video shared to X, formerly known as Twitter, the youngster was seen walking on the field alongside President Donald Trump, with many people becoming enthralled with how protective he looked of his grandfather.

The clip showed Donald walking on the field with Theo, but as he stopped to shake hands with some people, the youngster looked around nervously. Theo seemed to be eyeing everyone who interacted with his grandfather, keeping a watchful eye to ensure everything was safe. Ivanka Trump's youngest son has become a viral star thanks to his behavior around his grandfather Donald Trump at the 2025 Super Bowl. It comes amid heightened security at this year's Super Bowl as Trump was in attendance following two assassination attempts during the presidential campaign. Many people on the web joked that little Theo had the makings to become a Secret Service agent based on his behavior.

In addition to Trump, Ivanka, and Theo, attending the game, Eric Trump and his wife, Lara Trump, as well as Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend, Bettina Anderson. Trump made history as the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl game. He strode onto the field to shake hands with players and local cops before kickoff at the New Orleans Superdome. He also posed for photos with family members of victims in the New Year's Eve attack on Bourbon Street and emergency responders and waved to the cheering crowd.
