A Pot Noodle superfan who has eaten his favourite snack every day for the last 12 years will be tucking into a festive flavour for his Christmas dinner this year - despite it expiring in 2011. Dean Pugh, 56, has made his way through more than 4,700 pots during his lifetime, amassing £4,000 worth of Pot Noodle memorabilia.

And this Christmas, the father-of-three, dubbed 'Noodle King' by his friends, has decked out the whole of his living room with colourful decorations dedicated to his unusual hobby. His Christmas tree is now covered in Pot Noodle Christmas crackers, rare discontinued pots and the angel on top is the 90s mascot Ned The Noodle.

The plasterer has dined out on Pot Noodles daily for 12 years and has no plans to change his routine - even on December 25 when he will be having the Christmas Dinner flavour. He has also asked for a Pot Noodle hamper from his friends and family as a gift this year as he continues to add to his bonkers collection.
