The New York Jets have interviewed ESPN broadcaster and former NFL star Louis Riddick over their vacant general manager role. Joe Douglas was fired earlier this season, midway through another miserable campaign for Aaron Rodgers and Co. Owner Woody Johnson is leading the search for his replacement.

On Thursday, New York announced that they had spoken to Riddick over the role. Riddick spent nearly a decade in the NFL as player and has since worked in the front office for Washington and Philadelphia. More recently, however, he has worked as an analyst for ESPN.
