Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn has told the New York Jets he plans to accept the role of head coach at the organization, according to reports. The Jets have been on the hunt for Robert Saleh's successor since firing him in October, and the interview process stepped up over the past fortnight.
Glenn was the team's No 1 target and NFL insider Josina Anderson is reporting that he has made it known he plans to take the job. Per multiple league sources, she reports that 'barring a major setback' Glenn will be announced as the Jets' new head coach.
