Kanye West’s Grammys appearance alongside his naked wife Bianca Censori may have cost him $20million (£16m), it is reported. West, 47, was said to have committed to two shows in Tokyo in May, but following he and his wife’s naked Grammys stunt on the red carpet in LA on Sunday night, this deal was reportedly taken off the table.

Investors for the Tokyo Dome show have got cold feet after the controversial red carpet appearance due to claims West is showing signs of coercive control over his 30-year-old wife, the Daily Mail reports. A source told the publication: ‘Kanye is just ****ing up every opportunity that comes to him. The stunt was creepy beyond belief and has been greeted with horror in Japan.’. They added: ‘Japan is having a cultural awakening about women’s rights and the MeToo movement is really strong here. What he did is being seen as an act of coercive control which is utterly unacceptable. He has completely culturally misjudged Japan.’.

According to LipReader founder Nicola Hicking, as the Australian architect and model removed her coat on the red carpet – turning away from the cameras before facing them fully nude save an entirely sheer slip – West allegedly told Bianca: ‘You’re making a scene now.’. ‘Make a scene; I’ll say it’ll make so much sense,’ he continued, to which Bianca nodded her head in agreement. Ye then told her: ‘Drop it (the coat) behind you and then turn; I got you,’ followed by Bianca declaring: ‘Alright, let’s go,’ per The Mirror US.

It was initially reported that having entered the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles hand-in-hand wearing stern expressions, they were kicked out of the venue. However, People later reported the pair were not banned from entering the event; instead, Ye and Bianca decided to give the show a miss. Later on in the evening at a Grammys after party, Bianca wore a slightly more modest outfit of a black sheer thong bodysuit, as the pair danced away together kissing.

This isn’t the first time Bianca has worn next-to-nothing while out and about with a fully clothed Ye. Given these recurring scenes, many have accused Ye of being ‘abusive’ towards Bianca, suggesting he is coercing her into wearing no clothes in a twisted humiliation ritual. X user vitt2tsnoc wrote: ‘He’s stripped his wife of all clothes and self respect, she’s nothing but a puppet, meanwhile he’s of course, ALWAYS fully clothed. This isn’t “art” – it’s abuse. At what point is enough enough?’.
