Kanye West is being sued by a former staff member who claims the rapper was being antisemitic. It comes after the musician who is now legally known as Ye went on a shocking Twitter /X rant over last week. On Friday, Ye claimed he loved Adolf Hitler and hated Jewish people. He also released clothing with a swastika on the front after a controversial Super Bowl advert. Now, a former marketing employee of the rapper has filed a lawsuit against him in L.A. Superior Court. According to court documents obtained by The Mirror US, the employee alleged that the Gold Digger singer, 47, fired her after calling her ugly and texting her "Hail Hitler.".

The former employee also alleged that Ye would consistently subject his Jewish employees to hateful and anti-Semitic comments. According to the lawsuit, Ye is said to have sent text messages to his employees which read: "I Am A Nazi," and "Welcome to the first day of working for Hitler.". The plaintiff, who is identified in the lawsuit documents as Jane Doe, claims the anti-Semitic actions from the musician took place between January and June in 2024. They are said to have been hired by Ye's company in December 2023 - the same month the star had issued an apology in Hebrew for past anti-Semitic remarks. At the time, he expressed his regret. However the lawsuit said this was short lived.

The lawsuit alleged the complainant was relieved of her duties in March 2024 prior to getting swiftly rehired at twice her salary. Ye is said to have texted her and other employees about their pay: "What the F*** Is Everybody Here Getting Paid?". In a statement to The Mirror US, Doe’s Attorney Carney Shegerian of Shegerian & Associates said: "Ye waged a relentless and deliberate campaign of antisemitism and misogyny against my client. His appalling treatment of women and fixation on Nazism, evident in abusive texts where he repeatedly calls himself Hitler, expose his motives. We need to stop excusing Ye’s behavior. As a father, husband, and employer, he must be held accountable. Ye dared my client to sue, and we will see him in court.”.

It's not the first lawsuit the rapper has faced from a former employee. In October, a security guard launched a legal claim after saying he was sacked by Ye when he asked to be paid. Legal documents state that West agreed in August 2021 that he would pay Monroe $30 per hour in order to provide security at a home in Malibu, California, which he was attempting to renovate following his split from Kim Kardashian.

Monroe claims he clocked up between 36 - 50 hours of work each week while working for Kanye, whose career has rapidly declined since 2022. He told a court that he hadn't received any form of payment but in October 2021, he was allegedly fired from his position after airing his concerns over not being paid. Like this story?
