A Kiefer Sutherland-mad woman had her idol's face tattooed on her thigh just days after meeting the Hollywood actor on set of his new film. Annie Wilkinson-Gill, 44, met the star of 24 and The Lost Boys in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, as he filmed scenes for the upcoming Sky Christmas movie Tinsel Town.

The Golden Globe-winning actor, 58, co-stars in the new flick alongside Rebel Wilson and Robbie Williams's daughter Teddy, 13, which is set for release in December. Mother-of-three Annie, who has owned a crystal shop on the town's high street for 13 years, met the star earlier this month.

By pure coincidence, she had already booked herself in for the tattoo of Sutherland's face before finding out he was filming down the road 11 days ahead of her appointment. The tattoo is of Sutherland's likeness in the 1985 cult film The Lost Boys - in which he plays a blood-sucking vampire and member of a biker gang.

Speaking about her meeting with the actor, she said: 'I already had the tattoo booked in, funnily enough. 'We were aware they were filming in town, I popped down to watch the filming of one of the scenes and he came over and said 'hi', I was very starstruck.

'I didn't get the opportunity to tell him about the tattoo, I wasn't thinking about it. Kiefer Sutherland fan Annie Wilkinson-Gill, 44, got his face tattooed to her thigh just days after meeting the Hollywood actor. 'I just wanted to quote one of the lines from the Lost Boys so I didn't tell him I was getting a tattoo done.

She said: 'If I had the opportunity to see him again I'd get him to sign just next to the tattoo, and I'd get that tattooed next to it. I love it. 'Knaresborough is such a beautiful town, and I'm hoping the film puts the town on the map, helps to increase things like footfall and visitors. It's such a beautiful location.'.

Kiefer's presence didn't go unnoticed by eagle-eyed fans in Knaresborough who jumped at the chance to snap photos with him. Sharing their excitement to Facebook, one local business wrote: 'It has been so much fun having some famous faces among us the last few weeks while they used our beautiful town for filming a new Christmas movie.

'We were lucky enough to meet some of them... and Annie finally got to meet the lovely Kiefer Sutherland today. 'Seeing others enjoy our town as much as we do has been so special and it’s been wonderful to be a part of it all.'. Another added: 'Oh my god! I'm literally the happiest person right now! @kiefersutherland is in our little town filming and I got to meet him!.

'And if you know anything about me I bl**** love my 80s horrors especially The Lost Boys! I'm a massive film geek! I don't think I've ever been so coy in my life. 'I'm feeling incredibly blessed right now. Also what a bloody lovely guy he was! I also shouted hello like a right plonker and quoted the lost boys at him.'.

Set for a festive season streaming release in December 2025, Australian actress Rebel plays a choreographer for a small town stage company in England's north who becomes involved with a newcomer played by Kiefer. Trade paper Variety reported on Friday that the film, produced by Sky and Future Artists Entertainment and set to debut on Sky Cinema, is already underway.

Kiefer left fans starstruck when he was spotted filming in a North Yorkshire village for his upcoming Christmas project. The actor's presence didn't go unnoticed by eagle-eyed fans in Knaresborough who jumped at the chance to snap photos with Kiefer. Plot details released by the filmmakers reveal that the film centres on a fictional action 'star' called Bradley Mack played by Sutherland, whose career looks over after he is dumped from his own franchise.

Hoping to relaunch his name as a stage star in London's West End, Mack heads to England, but he ends up booked to play a lead role in Cinderella for a tiny stage company in a remote northern village. As rehearsals grind on Mack finds a connection with Jill (Rebel), who gives him a spark to move on from the disappointments of his past.

'I love British Christmas movies,' Rebel said in a statement. She continued: 'Because in Australia we’re just on the beach having a BBQ – and so now I feel like I get to have a classic British Christmas, freezing my t***s off but laughing and sledding all the way!'.
