Leo Woodall has given a rare insight into his romance with White Lotus co-star Meghann Fahy after playing a toy boy in the latest Bridget Jones film. The 28-year-old British star shot to fame in 2022 when he appeared in the season two of the hit HBO comedy drama The White Lotus - which also starred 35-year-old Meghann. This month, Leo hit cinema screens playing Roxster McDuff in Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy where his character falls for the titular character played by 55-year-old Renée Zellweger.

On Sunday night, Leo attended the 2025 BAFTA awards in London - with Meghann joining him at the glitzy awards and the pair putting on a loved-up show on the red carpet. Leo was a presenter at the award ceremony where he dished out the Best Actress gong. Ahead of his appearance at the ceremony, the One Day actor gave an interview with a broadsheet newspaper and gave rare insight to his romantic life. He painted Meghann as his rock, hinting that she keeps him grounded amid his rising star power - and went on to discuss the toy boy role he took on for Bridget Jones.

In his chat with The Telegraph, Leo said he was "very, very happy" dating Megann - and added: "Everything would be a bit too crazy without her there." With a slight age gap between them, he went on to share his thoughts on the toyboy label which has been thrown on him thanks to his Bridget Jones role. He told the outlet: "[The toyboy phrase] is being used a lot. And look: I'm someone who typically leans into wanting to find the humour in things, and not taking things too seriously, particularly when it pertains to myself. So it's not the phrase that bothers me, really. It's more that in the story, Roxster is actually more than just a toyboy, they do have a real relationship and find a real connection.".

He went on to flag that it is less common for a younger man/older woman dynamic to be shown on-screen while it is largely normalised that an older man/younger woman romance would be portrayed. On Saturday, the actor revealed he had been nervous when he accepted his role on Bridget Jones. He told Variety: “They just put the faith in me and Renée... Obviously, they didn’t have to worry about her … but I thought, ‘What if …?’ Because it’s one of those things that you can be lucky with and you can be unlucky, and luckily we... I mean, she’s so easy to get along with, and she’s so generous and fun and cool. So it was easy for us to have what was needed for those two parts.”.

On Sunday night, he presented the Best Actress award at the BAFTAs - co-hosting the segment with Bridget Jones co-star Chiwetel Ejiofor who plays his love rival in the film. In a comedic sketch, the boys joked about which of them was more desirable - with Leo highlighting he is the "boy" in Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy - leaving Chiwetel to argue that would would prefer him as he is a man.
