Love Island returned to ITV2 tonight for its highly-anticipated All Stars series, hosted by fan favourite Maya Jama. However, fans soon took to social media to highlight one major problem with the spin-off show. Tonight's launch show saw the 2025 cast enter the South African villa, including the likes of Curtis Pritchard, Catherine Agbaje, Gabby Allen, Kaz Crossley, Nas Majeed and Marcel Somerville among others. However, fans have complained that the line-up is always underwhelming when compared to the show's host Maya Jama.
One passionate fan took to Reddit with their complaint, writing: "This sounds weird, but I'm sorry I must speak my truth. The presenter should not be clearing the all contestants like this every single season. It's distracting! Not to mention the guys always seem infinitely more interested in her than the women in the villa!".
Replying to the opinion post, one fan said: "If she were an islander, the number of guys who would fight for her would be incredibly - heck, so would I!" While another wrote: "She eats everyone up every single time, it's actually not fair. If I was on the show I would be fearing my outfit when she arrived.".
To combat the issue, one fan suggested that the show hire an equally attractive male co-host. "I have been saying this for so long!" they said. "I think if they want to keep her they need to hire an equally as hot man to remind the women hot men exist.".
