Eyal Booker has been praised for his comments supporting his brother's sexuality journey. The former singer who became a household name on ITV's Love Island has not shied away from using his platform to give others a voice. During a conversation with his older brother, Tal, the social media star opened up about his bond with Tal, admitting he felt a "responsibility" for his sibling who has previously opened up about his journey having been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Tal, a tattooist at The London Social stated that some people perceive him to be "abrupt" but he admits that he was able to "mirror" both Eyal and his other brother, Ariel. In a moving episode of the It's Not That Deep podcast, the tattooist who has inked the likes of Tom Grennan said that describing himself as a gay man often felt as though he was "insulting himself.".

Opening the episode, Eyal admits he wanted to explore the topic of conversation as the term "gay" had often been used as a derogatory way to describe things in the early 2000s. Tal commented: "It was used as a weapon to put people down and to kind of say like if something's not cool or whatever." Eyal added: "It was weaponised as a word, right? But it was also used with such ease in such a throwaway way that nobody would even question it and let's be honest, parents would use it, kids would use it. People would just generally use it to describe things.".

However, Tal admitted that he wasn't keen to "call people out" but says that while tattooing an individual on a live podcast, saying he was "sitting there, for all intents and purposes as a gay man" when an individual stated another person told the individual not to have a tattoo on a certain body part because it was "gay.".
