Luke Littler has jetted off to Spain to celebrate his recent World Darts Championship victory. The 17-year-old is still settling into life as the champion of the world on the back of his 7-3 victory over Michael ven Gerwen at Ally Pally last Friday and is enjoying some time off ahead of the Bahrain Darts Masters.

Despite being hit by a massive tax bill on his £500,000 prize money, the teenager has still got enough to treat himself to Alicante in Spain to soak up some winter sun. On Thursday, the 'Nuke' took to Instagram to share a brief video of an empty beach with his 1.8 million followers.

In the short clip, the world champion strolled along the Playa del Albir promenade with the view of the beach, blue sky and sea in the background. It's unclear who Littler is on holiday with. Littler recently highlighted how he is keen to purchase a Mercedes A-Class on the back of his World Darts Championship win - despite not yet knowing how to drive.

Littler is still 17, 18 later this month, and became the youngest-ever winner of the World Darts Championship when he beat Michael van Gerwen 7-3 in the final at Alexandra Palace.
Already winning over £1million in his career, the teenager is, some may say, rolling in it. But he can't take it all home - having to pay tax on all of his winnings through darts. Littler's career winnings before the worlds stand at £1,013,500, with more added on after he pocketed the £500,000 prize fund for winning the Worlds over the Christmas period.
