Married At First Sight UK star Luke Worley left fans puzzled after appearing to pop the question - before being brutally rejected. The 32-year-old sales exec from Essex shot to fame on the E4 reality show after marrying Lancashire lass Jay Howard. Though they seemed to be one of the strongest couples at the start, they ended up being kicked off the show after Luke had a fight with fellow groom Jordan Gayle.
He is always on the look out for love and he confused his followers after 'going down on one knee', even though he's not gone Instagram official with a new girl. Holding out a ring in a romancing setting in Dubai with a sticker over the mystery person, he captioned the photo: "She said no.". We're none the wiser - but did add a laughing emoji to his post. He called it quits with girlfriend Hannah Lynch in August after calling her his "rocket". He was spotted back on dating app Hinge after dating for six months, and there's been no sign of anyone else on his social media channels since.
Luke opened up in a Q&A on Instagram to give fans an update on what he’s been up since filming stopped Asked why he backed out of the fight with Jordan, he answered: “I didn’t. If it was up to me I would still be boxing him,” before adding, “Talking of boxing, 2024 is a big year for me.”. Fans were sad when Luke and Jay didn’t work out and he later claimed the pair “never loved each other”. Cracks began to show when Luke hinted Jay was a bit of a pushover and told the lads he thought that even if he took another woman’s number on a night out he could probably get away with it.
After confronting Luke, Jay appeared to patch things up with her husband but the couple were then kicked off the show when Jay got in a fight with fellow groom Jordan. He has since claimed he was "blacklisted" from the show by broadcasting bosses and banned from the reunion. Luke last year revealed he felt "betrayed" after his brother was found with a huge cocaine stash on a motorway. He opened up on his family's history, admitting he feared he would be judged by his brother's crimes. Luke, who was matched with Jay Howard on the E4 show, was left "angry" after discovering his half-brother Sam Migliorini's secret life.
Migliorini was found guilty of possession with intent to supply in 2021 after police found £3 million worth of cocaine in his car boot. Luke has said it couldn't have been a worse time for him and his family as he split from his girlfriend of almost a decade in 2019 and lost his grandmother in 2020. The TV star has shared that he told his wife Jay at the earliest opportunity about his brother. Luke told the Daily Mail: "In October 2020, my brother was pulled over on the M25 and was found with 30kilos of cocaine in his boot, which they valued at £3million. It was a huge shock.
"I was grieving for my nan and my relationship that had ended and all of a sudden, I had to grieve my brother being taken away from me." The pair grew up together in Essex and share the same mum but have different fathers. In October 2020, Migliorini was pulled over by police on the M25 and found with 30 kilos of cocaine. In 2021, he was sentenced to 11 years in prison. It was reduced to eight years following his guilty plea and he is serving his time at HM Prison Standford Hill. Luke has said his brother even watched him on Married At First Sight, revealing he and his prison mates were "hooked".
