A man has been seriously injured after a stabbing at the Berlin Holocaust memorial, police have said. In a post on X, police in Berlin said a man had been "seriously injured by an unknown person" at about 6pm local time. "The injured man was taken to hospital. Rescue workers are on site caring for several people who had to witness the events. Investigations are ongoing at the crime scene," they continued.
The suspect in the attack is currently at large, police said, adding there are no indications on a motive as of yet.
