Curtis Pritchard's ex-girlfriend Maura Higgins has spoken out after his Love Island bombshell. The line-up for the ITV2 show's second series was unveiled on Tuesday morning. Curtis, 28, was first an islander in 2019 and he went on to have an eight-months-long romance with Maura, now 34, after reaching the final together. The exes have both since dated other people, with Maura most recently having been romantically linked to pal Pete, 37. The pair were spotted kissing on a few occasions last year and he has since teased that they as "very close". Last month, whilst on I'm A Celebrity, Maura said she was "single" but admitted to having been "seeing someone".
Just hours after her ex Curtis' place in the All Stars line-up was announced this week, Maura shared her support for her boyfriend Pete Wicks' latest project. He will front docuseries Pete Wicks: For Dogs' Sake, which launches on U&W on Tuesday. The show will see former the Only Way is Essex cast member Pete work with the charity Dogs Trust "to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome vulnerable dogs". The series will feature four episodes.
Maura shared a post by the Humane Society International UK (HSI) that promoted the show on her Instagram Story. Alongside a clapping emoji and one depicting paw prints, she wrote in her caption over the post: "Tonight.". The original post read: "Tune in to channel U&W at 9pm tonight, to see our dear friend @p_wicks01 on his new television show! Pete will take viewers behind the scenes to follow the journey of dogs in need as they are rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed.
