Millions of Tesco shoppers can get BONUS Clubcard points worth up to £50 – but shoppers are all saying the same thing

MILLIONS of Tesco shoppers can now earn up to £50 worth of extra Clubcard points as the supermarket brings back a popular rewards game. Selected members of the loyalty scheme have been invited to take part in its "Clubcard Challenges" game, which is running between now and March 9. Eligible customers have been invited to participate via email or through a banner on their Tesco Clubcard app. By signing up, participants will receive 20 personalised challenges over the promotional period, of which they can complete up to 10.

Each completed challenge will reward shoppers with extra Clubcard points, potentially totalling up to £50. The challenges are tailored to individual spending habits and are in addition to any personalised offers and deals already available through the app or email. However, the amount customers need to spend to complete each challenge will vary, depending on the individual. This offer is particularly beneficial for those who were already planning to shop in the specified categories, as it allows them to earn extra points on their usual purchases.

However, consumer groups have previously cautioned that such schemes can encourage overspending, potentially leading households to exceed their budgets. Some members have also expressed frustration on social media, noting that the challenges don't always align with their regular shopping habits.
