A mum-of-five who died suddenly over Christmas at the age of just 35 was a "truly beautiful soul" according to her heartbroken family have said. Jamie-Louise Farren died on Boxing Day after suffering an asthma attack at her Withernsea home in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Having been diagnosed as a baby, Jamie-Louise had been through numerous hospital stays due to the condition.
Following her death, Jamie-Louise's devastated mum, Lorraine Dawes-Farren, issued a warning to fellow asthma sufferers, desperately urging them to make sure they take the time to attend their appointments. She said: "Asthma is a serious illness and unfortunately in our family's case, a killer. Give your asthma the due care and attention that it seriously needs.".
Remembering her daughter, Lorraine went on to say: "Being a very young and inexperienced mother of sixteen years old, I feel Jamie-Louise and I grew up together. Jamie-Louise taught me unconditional love in every aspect of my life. "Throughout the years, she grew from a sassy little girl who loved life to the full, to a beautiful, strong, and independent woman. Jamie-Louise attended Withernsea primary and went on to finish Withernsea high. She was popular amongst her circle of friends and remained good friends with a few of them.
"Jamie-Louise had a larger-than-life personality. She was playful and would often say or do something that was funny without realising it. This was part of her charm. She always had a story to tell but would put her slant on it, which made it funny. She was a straightforward talking person who was not afraid to speak up for herself or others.
