Although the streaming giant has not confirmed the actual release date, according to a number of reports and online findings, it appears that Netflix may have unintentionally disclosed the release date.
As per a description uploaded on the streaming behemoth's official Korean YouTube channel, Squid Game Season 3 is slated to debut on June 27, 2025. This means that Season 3 will be in post-production if the series will be ready in just six months time.
The information was featured in a video that was supposed to act as a teaser and simply just advertise the forthcoming season, but the post was promptly deleted. Despite Netflix's efforts to erase it, fans swiftly took screenshots of the "leaked date" and began to splash their thoughts across various social media platforms, including Hollywood Handle on X and Forbes.
We have contacted Netflix for an official comment, but they have not yet responded. Many fans online seemed incredibly hyped over the situation, believing that there must be some legitimacy, given it was leaked from a Netflix platform. However, there remains the potential for postponements or alterations to the timetable.
