Mastering the art of plant care as the seasons shift can be a daunting task. Certain plants demand more TLC than others, so it's crucial to identify which ones will need extra nurturing. Key factors like regular watering and exposure to sunlight are vital for your plant's survival.

Houseplants can instantly uplift your living space, but the fear of them wilting away too soon is real. However, some plants, like the delicate peace lily, can flourish even in gloomy weather. Experts advise placing your peace lily, also known as Spathiphyllum, in a specific room to avoid its leaves turning brown. As these plants struggle in dry air, they thrive in warm, moderately humid environments - making your bathroom the perfect spot.

Patch Plants further confirmed that a peace lily "will survive in most light conditions", implying that lack of natural light in your bathroom won't be an issue. Despite this, peace lilies still need moisture, but overwatering should be avoided. The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) advised: "Mist plants regularly or stand them on a tray of damp gravel. The roots can rot if the compost is damp for long periods, so take care not to overwater.".

The gardening experts have shared their top tips for nurturing peace lilies, advising: "For good growth and flowering, feed every two weeks from spring to autumn. Wipe the leaves with a damp cloth to remove dust and improve photosynthesis.". They also noted that 'your plant can droop dramatically when it needs watering but perk up after a good drink.' To ensure your peace lily thrives, avoid placing it near radiators or in the path of chilly draughts.
