New Look is stocking a burgundy bag that's turning heads for its likeness to a much pricier designer item. The high street chain is known for offering trendy pieces at a steal, and it has potentially hit the jackpot again with the Burgundy Leather-Look Weave Shoulder Bag which has a striking resemblance to a Bottega Veneta piece. However, while shoppers can pick up the New Look option for just £24.74, those looking to sport the similar Bottega Veneta's Sardine Bermuda Bag would have to part with a hefty £8,510 when shopping online.
Both bags boast a chic woven effect in a shoulder bag style. Each is complemented by elegant gold hardware. However, the handles of the bags are different, as well as the closures - the New Look version has a zip while the designer version has a hook closure.
