Azalea's eight-year-old daughter also woke up at 1am throwing up, with the couple - who were camping along with many of their guests - hearing people getting up to vomit throughout the night. 'It sucks,' Shawn said. 'It sucks that one of the most important milestones in our lives is kind of tarnished by this experience where everybody's getting sick.'.
According to the couple, the company blocked both of them on social media and both their phone numbers, as well as ignoring guests that have reached out. The family begged the resort for help, but were refused medical assistance until it was too late. The family was eventually taken to a local hospital, where April, 41, and Oliver, 8, passed away. They died from secondary causes related to food poisoning, according to the coroner's report obtained by CTV News.
