Deputies then learned that Demskiy had thrown the child, leading them to force entry, Public Information Officer Amar Gandhi said. When they got inside, there was a struggle, the top cop confirmed in several statements - framing the fight as being between deputies and Demskiy, and 'physical' in nature.
