On feeding those leafy friends, Moulton recommends: "Nutrients are essential components in plant health, particularly if you want to encourage your plants to flower.". No need to worry about freshly bought peace lilies, but those in longstanding quarters may be craving some sustenance, with fertiliser or repotting as the answer to refreshed vigour.
The expert's tip for fertilising is to use a balanced houseplant feed bi-monthly unless green flowers dominate - then it's time to cut back on the grub or dilute it for happier plants.
