Optical illusions can reveal things about your personality - as well as give insight into how your mind works. For them to work, you have to clear your mind and stick with your initial response to the image - usually answering 'What do you see first?'. In a TikTok video, uploaded by @picpsy, people have been asked to share whether they see a wolf's head or tail when faced with an image. The clip goes on to explain what it means depending on which part of the animal you see, with the narrator stating: "Seeing a wolf's head at first glance means you care about your reputation and have a strong sense of self-worth.".

But not only this as it claims you have a strong drive in your career as you do not want to fall behind the crowd. It adds: "You prefer a simple life and possess a strong sense of justice. You dislike when others a manipulative towards you or when they seek personal gains through unfair means.". It says you have a strong understanding of a person's intensions and make friends or distance yourself from people accordingly. However, if you saw the wolf's tail, it suggests you have "tendencies of indecision and discomfort towards densely packed things". It claims you might be obsessed with keeping things clean and orderly.

It adds: "You might seem approachable and easy going but in reality you are steadfast and not easily swayed in your beliefs and decisions. While you might give off an impression of being patient, you can be somewhat impulsive. You occasionally struggle to control your emotions leading to feelings of restlessness or anxiety. However, it claims you always strive to better yourself and will not accept mediocracy in your life.

Commenting on the clip, one user said: "Defo the tail is spot on with me too." Another user added: "Tail end. But I saw both." A third user said: "OK I saw the rear end but the wolf head is me." One more user added: "The tail end and it is me 100%.". According to Psychology Today, personality tests are "transparent and straightforward tools anyone can understand, even though creating them requires training and diligence." A statement reads: "Millions of people take personality tests either to learn about themselves or because others – like potential employers – want to know about them.

To some, these tests can seem like magical devices that reveal their hidden selves. Others may see them as bogus gimmicks that are useless or even actively deceitful. "The tests achieve something hard to accomplish otherwise: they systematically ask about many aspects of people’s personalities and directly compare their traits to those of many other people.".
