FURIOUS residents say their pavement has been blocked for four months because of their nightmare neighbours' ugly caravan. Stunned householders first noticed the 13ft long caravan when it appeared outside a semi-detached home on their street in Bolton.

It was too large to fit in the garden and was left sticking out over a pavement. After complaints, a fence was cut down and the caravan was moved to lie alongside the front of the 1930s property - taking up nearly all of the 19ft wide garden. But nearby residents are still unhappy with the placement of the caravan and think that it's a "disgrace.".

One neighbour, who wishes to be anonymous, said: "When it was here and parked on the pavement, nobody could get past it. "They had to walk in the road and it was a disgrace. "It turned up one night and I couldn't believe it as people are living in it - there were lights on inside it.

"As far I'm aware, the caravan should not be here at all on this estate.". The neighbour says the property is owned by Bolton at Home, who manage over 18,000 properties in the area. They said caravans shouldn't be allowed as only privately owned properties are allowed them outside their houses.

They said: "They've cut the fencing down to fit it in the garden and I don't know how the postman can go and deliver their mail because the caravan is in the way. "It shouldn't be here as it's a Bolton at Home property. "There's only caravans on this road, which are outside private properties.".
