The Spanish queen was dressed formally for Thursday's meeting in a three-piece grey suit. The mother-of-two achieved a look that was at once smart and fashionable by wearing a waistcoat beneath her single-breasted blazer. Her suit trousers were wide-leg with a pleat down the front, paring perfectly with her block-heeled black boots.

Smiling Letizia wore her shoulder-length, brunette locks in a classic blow dry, brushed behind her ears to reveal a pair of silver hoop earrings. She kept her make-up natural for the occasion, adding little more than mascara and a glossy nude lipstick.

As honorary president of the FAD Juventud Foundation, Letizia chaired the organisation's board meeting. Not only does the organisation tackle drug misuse amongst children and teenagers, it also works with educators to help 'improve the well-being and quality of life' of young people more broadly.

The former journalist has had a particularly busy schedule this week, including a diplomatic lunch and a special gallery visit. Only yesterday, she and husband King Felipe welcomed the Egyptian president to Madrid. The royal couple hosted President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi for lunch at the opulent Zarzuela Palace, their residence on the outskirts of Spain's capital.

Letizia was typically chic in a fitted, navy tweed jacket with a subtle peplum hem and a matching midi pencil skirt. Her single-breasted jacket was adorned with a brooch from the 'joyas de pasar' collection of jewels, which passes from monarch to monarch.

For the formal occasion, the Spanish queen chose a brooch consisting of a pale grey pearl surrounded by diamonds. Letizia paired her figure-hugging skirt suit with patent leather kitten heels, also in dark blue, and added a pair of diamond stud earrings.

Glamorous as ever, she wore her shoulder-length brown hair in a classic blow dry and completed her look with smoky eye make-up and nude lipstick. Towering over his wife, King Felipe, 57, looked equally smart in a black suit teamed with a white skirt and crimson tie.

The Spanish royal couple smiled as they posed for photographs with President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, who appeared delighted to be in Madrid on Wednesday. Earlier in the week, Letizia and Felipe joined a meeting of the Board of Trustees at the Royal Collections Gallery in the Spanish capital.

Letizia put on a stylish display in a marl grey dress featuring a distressed hem and a ballet wrap design. She added a black waist belt with a chunky buckle to the dress, which was created by Spanish designer Cortana. The Spanish queen captivated crowds on Tuesday with the dazzling look, pairing her grey dress with a black handbag and textured boots in the same shade.

She wore her brunette locks in a perfect blow dry and kept her make-up simple, adding mascara and a nude lip gloss. She kept her make-up natural for the formal meeting, adding only mascara and a glossy nude lipstick. The mother-of-two waved to waiting photographers in Madrid.

She wore minimal jewellery for the Thursday morning meeting, adding just a pair of silver hoop earrings. Letizia attended the event alongside King Felipe, who looked dapper in bright navy suit and pair of shiny black brogues. Felipe appeared composed as he was photographed alongside to his striking wife in Madrid on Tuesday.

The pair attended a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Collections Gallery at the Royal Collections Gallery Museum. The gallery opened in 2023 and is considered one of the most significant museum projects in Spain in recent decades. The two-year-old venue is located beside the Royal Palace of Madrid. The aim of the museum is to showcase the Royal Collections, as well as providing a platform for all the Royal Sites.

Both royals serve as trustees for the museum and are responsible for advising the Board of Directors of National Heritage regarding the Gallery of Royal Collections. Trustees look towards supporting the goals and the objectives defined by the institution.
