Queen Letizia of Spain sports three-piece suit to attend board meeting of Madrid youth organisation

Queen Letizia of Spain was ready for business in a grey trouser suit this morning as she chaired the board meeting of a youth charity based in Madrid. As honorary president of the FAD Juventud Foundation, Letizia, 52, supports the organisation's educational work focused on fighting youth drug addiction.

The Spanish queen was dressed formally for Thursday's meeting in a three-piece grey suit. The mother-of-two achieved a look that was at once smart and fashionable by wearing a waistcoat beneath her single-breasted blazer. For the formal occasion, the Spanish queen chose a brooch consisting of a pale grey pearl surrounded by diamonds. Letizia paired her figure-hugging skirt suit with patent leather kitten heels, also in dark blue, and added a pair of diamond stud earrings.

The pair attended a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Collections Gallery at the Royal Collections Gallery Museum. The gallery opened in 2023 and is considered one of the most significant museum projects in Spain in recent decades. The two-year-old venue is located beside the Royal Palace of Madrid. The aim of the museum is to showcase the Royal Collections, as well as providing a platform for all the Royal Sites.

Both royals serve as trustees for the museum and are responsible for advising the Board of Directors of National Heritage regarding the Gallery of Royal Collections. Trustees look towards supporting the goals and the objectives defined by the institution.
