Queen Letizia of Spain stepped out of an elegant light charcoal ensemble on Tuesday as she arrived for a meeting in Madrid. The Spanish royal, 52, beamed as she appeared alongside her husband, King Felipe, 57, to attend a meeting of the Board of Trustees at the Royal Collections Gallery in the Spanish capital. The mother-of-two put on a stylish display in a marl grey gown made by the Spanish designer, Cortana, which featured a distressed hem and ballet wrap design.

She elevated the glamorous yet professional frock with a figure-flattering black belt, cinched at her slender waist and fastened with a statement chunky buckle. The pair attended a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Collections Gallery at the Royal Collections Gallery Museum. The gallery opened in 2023 and is one of the most significant museum project in Spain in decades. The two-year-old venue is located beside the Royal Palace of Madrid. The aims of the museum is to showcase the Royal Collections, as well as to providing a platform for all the Royal Sites.

Both royals serve as trustees for the museum and are responsible for advising the Board of Directors of National Heritage regarding the Gallery of Royal Collections. Trustees look towards supporting the goals and the objectives defined by the institution. Letizia beamed next to her husband as the posed alongside others on the board at the meeting today. It comes after Letizia, who previously worked as a TV-reporter, met with newspaper journalists in Madrid last week.

The Queen grinned as she posed with the attendees, which included a committee of experts headed by José Luis Bonet Ferrer.

After the initial greetings, Fernando Ónega López, president of the newspaper 65ymás, also shared a few words. Letizia has a successful past career as a reporter, which includes broadcasting live from ground zero after the 9/11 attacks in September 2001. The royal, whose father Jesús José Ortiz Álvarez and stepmother Ana Togores are both journalists, worked in TV and newspapers before marrying into the Spanish royal family in 2004.
