Kas Ahmed says his The Traitors castmates quickly reached out to him with an apology after banishing him from the Scottish castle. After his co-stars on the Claudia Winkleman-fronted show began to suspect Kas was a traitor, scenes saw the doctor being singled out from the group and endure what he calls an "isolating" time, which many viewers slammed as 'bullying'.
However, the reality star has tells Mirror all is forgiven, particularly after he received some apologies. "As soon as I left, everybody texted me and said ‘we feel so awful’ and apologised, I didn’t even know they had my number! But I completely understood and it was just the game, people were playing the way they thought was right and they had suspicions on me.".
Kas continues that, in the real world, his fellow gameplayers have been ultra supportive, gushing over the 'traitors family'. "Everyone has been so lovely and I’ve said, we’re like a traitors family. It is a game and everyone is there for their own reasons whether it’s to win or to enjoy the experience, I just wanted to make my wife and my daughter proud.".
However, the dad-of-one is honest about the tough experience and admits it wasn't easy being singled out by the group, who were convinced he couldn't be trusted. Kas says: "It was quite isolating in the last couple of days because there was a few times where I’d go into rooms and people would go quiet, or I’d go to get a cup of tea and it was obvious people were talking about me. So, that was tough because I couldn’t really speak to people. I think some people felt guilty that they were going to vote for me later on so that’s why they didn’t talk to me, and others thought I was a traitor so didn’t want me to know what their suspicions were.".
