Alison Hammond has been flooded with compliments following her incredible 11st weight loss. Her This Morning co-hosts made sure to tell her how amazing she looked as she showed off her amazing body in a mermaid costume on the show. It comes as she is currently playing the Magical Mermaid in Peter Pan as she returns to Birmingham Hippodrome for a second year. The Daily Mail reports that the 49-year-old appeared on a video call with Dermot O'Leary, 51, Josie Gibson, 39 and Kate Lawler, 44.

And out came Alison, announcing that she was there. Jaws then dropped in the studio as she appeared dressed in the metallic blue mermaid dress and asked Josie and Dermot how they were doing. But Dermot and Josie were unable to concentrate as they said that their friend and co-host looked "incredible" and "amazing". Even Kate added: "It's mermazing! You look like you are straight out of the Little Mermaid.".
Despite popular rumours, Alison dispelled the idea that she had achieved her 11st weight loss with the use of Ozempic, the infamous diabetes drug used by celebrities and people hoping to lose weight. The This Morning presenter revealed that she actually decided to lose weight after the death of her mum, who had been concerned with Alison's pre-diabetic diagnosis.
