TOTTENHAM have reportedly opened talks to sign Yoane Wissa from Brentford. The Bees forward has impressed this season in the wake of Ivan Toney leaving for Saudi Arabia in the summer. Spurs are in the market as manager Ange Postecoglou desperately seeks reinforcements.

Reports in France have now claimed that discussions have started between the North London side and Brentford. Foot Mercato have claimed that talks are underway and that Spurs have contacted Wissa to express their interest. The 28-year-old has been vital for the Bees since his arrival from Lorient in 2021.

This season he has already netted 11 goals in just 20 Premier League appearances. Postecoglou has been keen to add more depth to his squad this month. The club has lost multiple players to injury, with the likes of Dominic Solanke, James Maddison, Destiny Udogie and Timo Werner some of the players to get sidelined.
