A Disney-obsessed couple who moved almost 600 miles so they could spend every day at Disney World said there would be no exception on Christmas Day. Jessica Pruitt, 42, and her husband Wes, 56, left their home in Charlotte, North Carolina, to live out their dreams in Davenport, Florida. Jessica says she fell in love with the park after Wes took her for the first time at age 35.
The sweet couple used to take their three children to the attraction twice a year, but now they decided to make their visits more frequent. Superfan, Jessica, says they picked up their lives and moved across the country in July 2022. Now, she visits the parks daily, either at the start of the day or in the evening.
The mum-of-three says she's excited to spend Christmas Day at Disney World with Wes. This year, they will be spending the festive period away from their adult children. Jessica, a content creator, said: "Christmas was already my favourite time of year - as a kid, it was a time when all the stars aligned in my family. Disney makes it so special with all the different decorations. You only get to go to Disney on Christmas Day once a year.".
Jessica and Wes, a mortgage broker, spend £1,109 each on a top-tier annual season pass – which they pay monthly to split up the cost. They go to the park every day and have already started celebrating Christmas at the park with Mickey Mouse - by attending a parade and fireworks display.
