A MUM-OF-SEVEN shared the shocked reaction she usually receives from strangers when they learn her age. The woman, who also has one grandchild, said people are always baffled by her youthful appearance. The TikToker explained that she got married aged 18 and had four kids. She shares Alyssa, 30, Cody, 28, Nick, 25, and Lauren, 22, with her first husband. Jessica went through a divorce at 27 and said she didn't date until after it had been finalised.
Believing she was finished having kids, she went out into the dating world and met Rob online. Within two months, the pair were married and since Rob didn't have any children of his own, Jessica decided to expand her family. She went on to give birth to Lincoln John, 15, Alexis 13, and Eli Cruz, 11. Now 50, the mum receives shocked responses over her age and large family. She revealed that her son Cody has recently welcomed a baby girl and her daughter Lauren is currently expecting her second grandchild, a baby boy.
Despite having so many children and being on her second marriage, the mum is still constantly mistaken for someone decades younger. While Jessica is four years older than her husband, people often think she is the same age as her grown-up daughters. She revealed that they don't plan on having any more children. TikTok users shared their surprise at the grandmother's youthful appearance in the comments section.
"Umm let’s just talk about how amazing you look, girl," wrote one viewer. "I only have two and my body LOOKKS nothing like yours, what the hell!! Ahha you go girl," said another follower. Tracy Kiss, who fell pregnant at 19, has revealed what she beleives are the pros of being a young mother. The personal trainer and blogger, from Buckinghamshire, believes women who give birth in their teens make BETTER mothers than those in their 30s.
She claims young mums snap back into shape quicker, have more energy and relate more easily to their children, meaning they're better behaved and happier. Tracy told Fabulous: "Women who become first-time mums in their teens make better parents than those in their 30s or 40s. "I believe if I'd been 10 or so years older before becoming a mother then I wouldn’t have the relationship I have with my children now.
"For a start, being older I would have had less energy and therefore less patience. "I wouldn’t be as enthusiastic to speak to people after months of sleepless nights as I was in my teens. "My body snapped back to its pre-pregnancy size through fitness post-birth, which in turn gave me the confidence to date and find love again. I’ve never been happier than I am now at the age of 30 with two children.
"If I’d have been alone at 40 with a newborn baby I’d be more tired, less happy with my body, less energetic and far more stressed from the shock of living my life for myself instead of putting others first. Sometimes age and the innocence of ignorance is a good thing. "As a teen mum I just got on with it, found my feet and became responsible and capable because at the time I didn’t know any different.".
A third impressed TikTok user explained that they thought the 50-year-old was 27 at first. Others shared their awe that Jessica managed so many children. "I love your big adorable family! You guys seem happy and well put together so I guess in the long run, what other people think or say doesn't matter," wrote one person. "Seven kids???? Girl no shame, kids are awesome!!! I could only have two but you own it, love," said another follower.
