Thirty-nine-year-old found critically injured outside her high-rise unit block on River Road in Parramatta. A woman has died outside an apartment building where it is believed she had fallen from a balcony, and police have arrested a man who they said was her partner.

The woman, believed to be aged 39, was found critically injured outside a high-rise unit block on River Road at Parramatta in Sydney’s west about 1.40am on Thursday. She is yet to be formally identified and was pronounced dead at the scene after attempts to revive her.
Police said investigators had spoken to a number of people and had been told the woman fell from the balcony of a unit on the building’s seventh floor. The circumstances surrounding her death are being examined, with detectives arresting a 40-year-old man, believed to be the woman’s partner.
