Opera singer and Strictly Come Dancing star Wynne Evans received a heartfelt birthday serenade from his fellow cast members amidst a challenging period on the show's live tour. Professional dancer Jowita Przystal shared the touching moment on her Instagram Story, capturing the ensemble singing Happy Birthday to Wynne aboard their tour bus. In the video, Wynne, who turned 53, was seen burying his head in his hands, visibly moved by the surprise.

Wynne, whose birthday is today, was serenaded the night before as soon as the clock struck midnight during his hectic Strictly tour schedule. The Strictly Come Dancing 2025 Live Tour commenced on January 17, 2025, featuring a star-studded lineup of celebrities and professional dancers. Wynne, known for his role as the Go Compare tenor, is performing alongside professional dancer Katya Jones. The tour is scheduled to run until February 9, 2025, with performances across various UK cities.

Recently, Wynne faced backlash after making an inappropriate remark during the tour's launch event. He apologised for his "inappropriate and unacceptable" language, and producers have addressed the issue. During a photocall in Birmingham with fellow cast stars JB Gill, Montell Douglas, Shayne Ward and Jamie Borthwick, Wynne made a lewd joke as Janette Manrara walked over.

Evans has since apologised in a statement: "My language was inappropriate and unacceptable for which I sincerely apologise." A BBC spokesperson has also confirmed that they have spoken to the opera singer and said they "do not tolerate such behaviour". Tour producers have also issued him with a warning.
