After an apology for another Strictly scandal, Wynne Evans has been spotted walking around Liverpool. The Welsh opera singer was seen out in the North West city with Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Jones today (Monday January, 27). It comes after he was forced to apologise for an "unacceptable" sexual remark at the Strictly tour launch.

He looked unfazed as he wandered the streets in a black padded jacket and thick black sunglasses on his birthday. There was even room for a smile with professional dancer Katya as they took in the sights. Wynne had been caught on camera at a photocall event during the tour's launch in Birmingham using sexual language that appeared to make others uncomfortable. The Welshman is appearing alongside his dance partner Katya Jones while Strictly goes on the road after a successful stint on the BBC dance contest. However, he has now also been reprimanded by BBC bosses for his actions.

He was recorded belting out: "Go Compare," and then adding "Not too close to Jamie." He then, while fellow dancer Janette took her place between him and a fellow star, referred to the lewd sexual act, using the demeaning word "spit roast," as seen in a circulating Daily Mail video. Awkward laughter is heard on the footage, while Wynne appears to smirk to himself.

Following the clip being made public, BBC revealed that they had warned Evans about his behaviour. A spokesperson for the Strictly Live Tour and BBC Studios said: “We were not previously aware of the remark and did not receive any complaints. We have made it very clear to Wynne that we do not tolerate such behaviour on the tour.”.
