It is claimed Tel would still be keen to join Manchester United in the summer, having pushed to join the Red Devils in January before a loan move broke down.
While the France U21 international eventually agreed to join Spurs, transfer journalist Christian Falk – who broke the news Tel would be moving to north London on deadline day – says his long-term future may lie elsewhere.
