Hardworking Debbie shot to fame aged 17 when debut album Out of the Blue was released and spawned four top five singles including Foolish Beat, which made her the youngest female artist to write, record and produce a number one single on the Billboard 100.
Her 1989 follow-up Electric Youth included the number one single Lost In Your Eyes, and that year she received the prestigious American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) Songwriter of the Year of the year honour with Bruce Springsteen.
Debbie Gibson shot to fame in the late 1980s, becoming one of the youngest artists in history to write, produce, and perform a number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100 with her iconic hit Foolish Beat.
Later this year Debbie will be bestowed with another honor when she receives Nevada Ballet's 2025 Woman of the Year award.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Gibson's talent emerged early, and by the age of 16, she had released her debut album Out of the Blue (1987), which went triple platinum.
