Alan Shearer predicts change in title race after Arsenal and Liverpool results

Alan Shearer believes that Liverpool will pull away from Arsenal in this weekend's games. The Reds are currently top of the Premier League, with the Gunners their closest challengers in second. Arne Slot's men currently hold a four-point lead and also have a game in hand over the rest of the top-half.
They travel to Brentford on Saturday, with the Bees riding high from their comeback against Manchester City. They had fallen two goals behind to Pep Guardiola's side but scored twice in the final 10 minutes to claim an unlikely draw. Their home form has been impressive this season, though their dreadful results away has left them in the bottom half. And Shearer believes the leaders can comfortably deal with Thomas Frank's side.
"Brentford drew with City, coming back and scoring two late goals and getting the draw, and they could have, perhaps should have nicked with a chance they had, so they’re a tough side to beat at home," Shearer said as he predicted a Liverpool win. "Liverpool came up against a solid defence against Forest, and a really good inform goalkeeper, drawing another game away from home. In this one though I think Liverpool will have too much for Brentford. I know they’ve got a Champions League game on Tuesday, but they can’t afford to think about that.".
While Shearer believes Liverpool will be celebrating another three points on Saturday, he has tipped closest challengers Arsenal to be left disappointed. The Newcastle legend has tipped the Gunners to be held to a draw by Aston Villa in Saturday's late game.
