Alan Shearer's X-rated reaction after scoring quiz show own goal

Alan Shearer was lethal in front of goal during his glittering career - but it appears he's not as prolific when it comes to answering questions about his playing days. The Newcastle United and England legend remains the Premier League's record goalscorer and won the title with Blackburn Rovers in 1995.
Shearer's knowledge was put to the test in Betfair’s one-off special Christmas Quizzing… Only Bettor. He took on a team of racing experts, captained by racing royalty, Rachael Blackmore, who was joined by 14-time champion trainer, Paul Nicholls and Sky Sports Racing presenter, Vanessa Ryle. The former striker had Alan McInally and Sky Sports presenter Abigail Davies as teammates.
Shearer made a solid start during the captain's challenge, but followed by putting a couple wide of post, leading to some hilarious reactions. When asked who he scored his only Champions League goal for Blackburn against, Shearer wentfor Dutch outfit Heerenveen. However, it was in fact Norwegian side Rosenborg who he found the net against, leading to Shearer shouting "b*******".
The teams were put through their paces by host, Kevin Hatchard, in five rounds of sporting trivia, which includes the following: on the buzzer, hedge your bets, captain’s challenge, go big or go home and the final furlong. Betfair ambassador Shearer said: “There’s nothing like a good quiz at Christmas, and it was great to captain the team for Betfair’s Christmas Quizzing… Only Bettor. I won’t spoil it for people who are going to watch, but some of those questions were a lot tougher than we thought they would be. Fair play to the Betfair racing team too, they know their stuff.”.
