Aldi has launched some brand new products for Easter in UK stores - and shoppers cannot contain their excitement. The discount supermarket chain - which was recently crowned the cheapest UK supermarket for 2024 - has started its Easter celebrations earlier by introducing new Easter Egg products into stores. The supermarket's new Filled Mini Eggs have a soft centre of three different flavours, which include Jaffa, Nutoka, - which is the chain's dupe version of Nutella - and Caramelised biscuit.
Priced at £1.99 for 150g, the new products have already created a buzz on social media. Popular food account @NewfoodsUK shared the range with their 386,000 followers, and customers appeared to be very excited about them. The post read: "Run, don’t walk to Aldi UK. Brand new Filled Mini Eggs at Aldi! They are all delicious!".
One Facebook user commented: "Caramelised biscuit and Nukota ones. Yes please," while another said: "Oh my God - needed." A third person said: "I’m not being funny but I’ll die if I don’t get a bag of them Jaffa cake ones." A fourth added: "I need them ALL - I've faced facts, I will never be skinny again!!" and a fifth said: "We've just had Christmas and I've got lots of chocolate but Omg omg Omg caramelised biscuit.".
The post received more than 700,000 views at the time of writing, over 5,000 likes, as well as thousands of comments. Shoppers can get themselves a bag of the Easter treats in stores now and expect the full Easter range to be rolled out between January and April.
