With Valentine's Day fast approaching, gifting your partner flowers is common. But Aldi's affordable option means you'll have a bright bouquet that's impossible to kill and that you'll have fun making together. Ellie, who runs a TikTok page under the username @Fenloninteriors_, posted a video from her local Aldi store where she arrived bright and early on Thursday morning when the flowers landed in store. She said: "The perfect Valentine's gift or for my wholesome girlies.".
She showed some options customers could pick up for £2.99 a box. These included red roses, yellow tulips, pink peonies and more. In total, there are around 10 different flowers to choose from, inspired by the more expensive LEGO Botanical range, which has been trending for some time now. The Blocks in Bloom range is a middle aisle 'must buy' going viral on social media. And, judging by the reaction on TikTok, stock is flying out of stores quickly, so interested shoppers need to run to their nearest Aldi soon.
Buying an official bunch of LEGO's red roses will set customers back £54.99 from the official website. It features a dozen of the classic red flowers as well as some accents of baby breath. However, if you bought the same amount of flowers that are sold separately at Aldi, the 'set' would only cost you £35.88 - a saving of just over £19. The sets are available with different pieces depending on the type of flower you choose. They range in the amount of pieces, so you can select a model based on your time (or patience) levels.
One person said: "I've always wanted some LEGO flowers but they're mad expensive! These are amazing!" Another added: "They have great choices here. I bet Aldi will be raided once people see these!". A third commented: "I went to my local Aldi at 8.30am for these! So glad I was able to get them!" Someone else wrote: "I've been influenced! Going to see if I can get myself a whole bouquet.". Aldi has launched plenty of other options for the special day that's just weeks away. The range includes cards, soft toys and chocolates.
As with all SpecialBuy items, once the stock is gone then that's it. People should check multiple Aldi stores if they have their hearts set on certain flowers - or their nearest store has run low on items they want. You can stay one step ahead of the SpecialBuy hunters by checking out Aldi's website in advance. It lists upcoming deals for the next few weeks and l ets you browse the in-store leaflet online too.
