Alison Hammond addresses ITV This Morning future after admitting 'I want more time off'

Alison Hammond announced that she plans to take it easier where work is concerned after having a "very busy" 2024. The This Morning star was chatting with her co-host Dermot O'Leary on-air when she made the bombshell confession. The hosting duo, were discussing their goals for the New Year with a manifestation expert on the show when Alison aired that her main desire for 2025 was to "take more time off" much to her co-star's dismay.
Speaking honestly on the programme, Alison admitted: "I want a little bit more time off this year, I've been very busy," she added: "And a trip to Japan.". Dermot stepped up, countering Alison's plans for the year ahead, telling the expert: "I'm manifesting for Alison to take less time off, sorry Alison, but I miss you when you're not here.".
He also declared his love of visiting Italy and that he'd like to visit and be able to speak the language next time he travels to the country. It wasn't the first time during the show that the Birmingham TV star hinted at taking time out. Before the expert joined them on the show, they were toying with New Year's resolutions.
Alison turned to her co-star and said: "So what will be yours for the New Year? A bit more time out perhaps?" A bit taken back, Dermot shot back telling his on-air partner: "I was quite looking forward to 2025 but not now.". The former X Factor star asked loudly: "Are you trying to get me the sack?" The Bake Off star could not contain her laughter as she burst into giggles on-set.
