TV star George Clarke has revealed his watch was stolen after being robbed at knifepoint in the street. The 50-year-old architect, who known for property shows including Amazing Spaces and The Restoration Man, feared he 'could have been stabbed' during the traumatic encounter on Monday.

The father-of-three said he was 'ok' following the incident, but was 'angry with myself' for letting the attacker get away. He admitted he wanted to punch the robber, but feared he would be 'done for assault'. The property expert revealed his harrowing ordeal to his 240,000 followers on Instagram last night.

He wrote: 'To the little **** who stole my watch tonight...I pity you. 'It's only a watch at the end of the day. Although I loved it and grafted for it. But I could have been stabbed so let it go... 'I'm ok. I'm just angry with myself. I wanted to hit him but I'd be the one done for assault!!!!'.
