Andy Murray is set to return to the court just five months after he retired from tennis following the Paris Olympics. Since his retirement from the sport, Murray has started coaching his former rival Novak Djokovic and the pair are set to team up for a charity event ahead of the Australian Open. Djokovic is staging the third edition of his 'A Night With Novak' before the tournament starts this month to raise money for a number of children's charities through the Australian Tennis Foundation.

At the event, Murray and Djokovic will compete in a mixed doubles match and join forces with Tokito Oda and Dylan Alcott in a Paralympic tennis challenge. Ahead of the event, Murray practiced with Djokovic at the Margaret Court Arena. According to The First Serve, Murray spent part of the training session shadow-hitting backhands and serving into the edge of the court. However, he was left complaining of shoulder pain after doing so in an unfortunate reminder of the injury problems that forced him to retire in the first place.

The Brit is hoping he can help guide Djokovic to a record-extending 11th Australian Open victory this month. Speaking about their partnership last month, Djokovic said: "Being on the same side of the net is actually great for a change because he's been one of my greatest rivals.

"In a way it was strange for me to share all these kinds of insights about how I feel on the court, sharing some of the secrets of what I'm going through, what I'm thinking about, how I see my game with somebody that has always been one of the top rivals.
