"You've got a song that says, 'It's Coming Home'. This is your game, yet it takes an Aussie from the other side of the world to be the one that's most conservative about changes.". Ange Postecoglou is ready for a one-man crusade on the laws of football, insisting everyone misconstrued his 'all things being equal' comments which made headlines last weekend.
Postecoglou, 59, was left fuming after his Tottenham side fell to a controversial 2-1 defeat at home to Newcastle, with key decisions going against Spurs. Post-match, the Aussie-Greek manager claimed that 'had all things were equal and balanced, we would've won'.

Spurs had their own stroke of luck when goalscorer Lucas Bergvall avoided a red card shortly before netting his 86th-minute winner.

"I spoke about it after the game last time, I think my comments were misinterpreted," Postecoglou began. "I didn't criticise the referee or the decision. I didn't think the decision was right about the handball. But I said, it's very hard at the moment, it's very confusing, to understand certain elements of the game.
